The 2020 growing season in Hawke’s Bay was characterised by a warm, long, dry summer and autumn with ripe fruit flavours arriving early in the harvest period.
The grapes were rapidly and gently pressed to produce an elegant, fruit driven wine with low phenolics. The juice was cold settled for clarification and then cool fermented in stainless steel tanks to maximize the retention of fruit character.
Attractive aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries and red currants, along with hints of savoury spices, lead to fresh, crunchy red fruit flavours on the palate and a finish that is satisfyingly crisp and refreshing.
Trinity Hill Rose is a wine that is best enjoyed while young but will continue to drink well over the next two to three years.
Great drinking on its own or with salmon, poultry, and lighter red meat dishes.
Serve chilled.
